Newly Formed 24th Eastern India Regional Council and EIRC Awards 2021

Kolkata: The first term (2022-23) of 24th Eastern India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is formed under the Chairmanship of CA. Ravi Kr. Patwa from Silchar, Assam. Other members to the Council includes CA. Debayan Patra, Vice Chairman, CA. Sanjib Sanghi, Secretary, CA. Vishnu Kr. Tulsyan, Treasurer, CA. Mayur Agrawal, Member all from Kolkata, West Bengal. The other members in the Council are CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, Hon’ble President, ICAI, CA. Sushil Kr. Goyal, Council Member, ICAI, CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, Council Member, ICAI.   

The Handing Over Ceremony to this 24th Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India took place at Park Hotel, Kolkata which was attended by a large number of members including representations from the Branches of EIRC, EIRC’s Study Circles, Study Groups and Chapters.  

The programme also hosted the giving away of the EIRC Awards for the year 2021 to the Branches and Students’ Association of Branches of EIRC for their valuable contribution to the activities of the Institute. The prize winners for the year 2021 under various categories are as follows:
