Prime Minister Narendra Modi Urges to Implement the Budgetary Proposal in Agriculture

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed to implement the budgetary proposal for agriculture and rural development during his address in a post budget webinar on ‘ agriculture and rural prosperity’. The PM has urged the stakeholder to focus on action rather than discussing so much on budget. 

In the webinar Mr Modi talked about the plan and program of the government to bring about the aspirations and vision of ‘Vikshit Bharat’ with an emphasis on the policy making as well as its implementation at all levels of the country.

The Prime Minister has stated that we should put extra focus on agriculture. The budget has been announced and it is time to give utmost importance to the field of agriculture by identifying and putting forth the lacunas remains in the budget implementation related to agriculture. 

The role of the stakeholders is very much crucial as before the formation of the budget the valuable suggestions and feedback contributed hugely. Now that the time has come to implement the budget it will be equally important to welcome the views of the stakeholders in it. 

The PM further said, agriculture is the backbone of the country ‘s economic growth. So the government is prioritizing to improve the situation of both agriculture and rural property simultaneously. Adding to his remarks, PM assures the government will ensure that no farmer is left behind the progress of the other farmer in the pace of ‘Bikshit Bharat Abhiyan’.
