The State Government Issues New Guidelines for Graded Unlocking till December 1

Bhubaneswar: The government of Odisha has announced a graded unlocking for the state till December 1 2021. The government has taken this decision considering the health of the general public, to control the spread of the virus, and also not ignore the regular economic activities. Therefore the unlocking processes have been extended till the 1st of December which had been notified on 31st August earlier. The general instructions for the unlocking issued by the state government, very similar to the previous ones as directed. Such as:

There shall be a night curfew inflicted in all the urban areas in the state every day from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. At the same time, all the shops and malls shall remain open during this unlock period from 5 a.m. till. There shall be no weekend shutdown in any part of the state.

All kinds of religious festivities shall be observed as per the guidelines issued on the 9th of August. District Commissioners, Municipal Commissioners and Police Commissioners of Bhubaneswar& Cuttack are authorised to take decisions on the religious institutions considering the situation in the concerned areas/localities to put restrictions on the number of devotees entering inside the temples/churches/mosques/ gurudwaras with stringent adherence to covid measures.
