Political Goals of Narendra Modi

BJP and the prime minister always have been expressing that his target is not for the 2024 election but for 2047. The prime minister states both 2024 and 2047 are two different things and should not be discussed together. 2047 will be the 100th anniversary of the freedom of India. Normally, such milestones get new energy, commitment, and excitement among people to move ahead. So this an opportunity to utilise these 25 years to the maximum as we are standing at 75th year of country independence and going to reach 100th year. We should take the pledge to transform every institution of our nation starting from the grassroots to the higher level till 2047. 2047 is the year of the 100th anniversary of the Independent India. The country should be filled with inspiration, hope and encouragement to make the nation more and more progressive.

Another thing is 2024, which is the course of the election that comes in every five-year term of the formation of government in a democratic electoral set-up. In a democracy, elections should not be taken lightly. It is a festival, that should be celebrated with great excitement. For example, in sports, the events create a competitive attitude and an environment with the spirit of sportsmanship. If the election is turned into a festival, it becomes our culture for the present as well as the future generations. The year 2024 is treated in such a manner.

The vision for 2047 is a goal of moving towards many developmental goals. The 2024 election is an opportunity for the achievements the major political parties have brought to the people of the country during their respective tenures. The Congress had a vast time frame of 60 years of ruling, whereas the BJP has only two decades, out of which covid pandemic took away two years leaving a huge aftereffect. Despite that if compared between the tenures of these two parties, in any given field if there would be any lacuna, the efforts would not be inefficient. The country is growing with the pace, scale, and development in every sphere compared with the past Congress government tenures is not fair as their tenure is far more lengthy.

When the people of the country are given the responsibility of ruling the country, the focus should be centered on the country and the people. The country should be the ultimate priority. When the country is strong, every citizen becomes the beneficiary of peace, security and stability. The goal for 2047 is for the overall development, and welfare, of the country.  there are many aspects and goals which are yet to be achieved, the needs of the people to be fulfilled. To attain the goal, around 15 lakh people’s opinions were taken with the help of different NGOs, Universities, and Organisations on how they wish to see the country in the coming 25 years.  With the help of artificial intelligence developmental planning, different departments went on for the next 25 years. The vision is the accumulation of the whole country.  The work will be carried out after the Lok Sabha election by sending the plan to all state governments and working out with the planning commission.

The term “Modi ki guarantee ” was a slogan during the election campaign. This terminology created a chain of discussion about whether the candidates are irrelevant in the election as a guarantee that Modi seems to be churning votes. The prime minister says this election is impossible without the voters, the candidates and even the workers working in the election booths. Now the political leadership is in a questionable state as the words and languages used in the public forums are becoming frivolous. Leaders should take ownership of their commitments and words. The trust of the people is very important, it has immense power, and that is the reason why the slogan Modi ki Guarantee stands for it depicts commitment and responsibility.

The politicization of Ram Temple and its consecration goes back to the time when the BJP as a political party did not exist. The issue could have been solved at that time or thereafter during the time of partition as well. But it did not happen, because this was a potential political weapon to manipulate the voters. So it kept lingering and instigating the people’s emotions, and sentiments to play with the vote bank politics. When the matter was sub-judicial then also there was a lot of effort not to let the judgment pass. The propaganda of spreading communism in the name of Ram Mandir came to an end when the temple was built. The weapon is not there any more. The religious matters starting from the Somnath temple to the Ram temple, the core sentiment is used as a negative tool for maligning the minds of young India. This consecration ceremony should have been a proud moment for every Indian. Instead of pushing a political agenda into it all should have participated with a clean heart and as a proud Indian.

Ram Mandir was constructed with money that had been donated by the people of India, it is not a temple constructed by the government funds. The temple binds and inspires the pride, sentiment, capacity, dreams, commitment and of the future generations of India. India is a country of diversity and we should celebrate it rather than politicizing.

In Tamilnadu politics, the DMK has been keeping a stand against the Sanatan ideology. Now it is seen that the people are showing rebellion against the anti-Sanatan statements of DMK. Parties like DMK are at present allies with the Congress party. The question is whether there is any compulsion that the Congress party is a partner to such groups who are harbouring this kind of hatred towards Sabatan. Not to forget that the Congress party was once upon a time associated with the name of Mahatma Gandhi, insists Gandhi was wearing rudraksha mala openly without refrain.

The prime minister is seen wearing the traditional attire of different states wherever he goes, he promotes the mother tongue of every state in the education system. So it is baseless to blame the government for the destruction of diverse cultures, imposition of the Hindi language and restructuring the constitution.

In the cooperative federalism system, a country needs to develop in its entirety through cooperation and consideration of the regional zones. There has to be competitive cooperative federalism in a country to progress enthusiastically. For example, the G20 summit could have been held in Delhi itself but the prime minister preferred to hold it in each state so that every corner of the country would get the opportunity to visualize it and the foreign delegate should experience the authenticity and real flavour of India.

In foreign affairs, the policy of neighborhood first, acts east (the eastern part of the countries to be focused), in terms of diplomacy politics to deal with foreign countries it is rather more important to play personality politics to maintain cordiality among the heads of the states.
