Executive Meeting of the Alumni Association, Kendrapara Autonomous College

Bhubaneswar: The Alumni Association of the Kendrapara Autonomous College has conducted an executive meeting chaired by Prof. Nandakishor Parida in the small conference room of the college. The decisions taken at the last general meeting were unanimously adopted in this meeting. In addition, in the general meeting on March 27, executive members for the 2022-23 academic year were elected. Prof. Nandakishore Parida was elected as the president and Prof. Hindu Mitra Bal, Prof. Rajendra Prasad Tripathy and Smrutiranjan Jena were elected as vice-presidents. Dr Bidu Bhusan Dash was elected as the editor and Dr Amiya Kumar Mohanty, Dr Pramod Kumar Das and Prof. Debabrata Pradhan were elected as joint editors. Similarly, as executive members Prof. Tapan Kumar Pati, Paramananda Maharana, Rajesh Nayak, Dr Gyanendra Dash, Dr Subrat Kumar Samal, Dr Biswanath Das, Dr Sarmistha Kabi, Leftnant. Sima Mohanty, Subhankar Nayak and Ranjit Kumar Nayak were elected. In the advisory board, lawyer Dhruba Charana Jena and Saroj Raj Singh, educationist Ajay Kumar Samal and Durjyodhan Parida, literary Aparna Mohanty and Basudev Das were elected. The matters discussed in the first executive meeting with the newly elected members were to increase the number of members, initiation of discipline by the alumni, keep connected with various departments of the college etc. It was decided that the alumni association would extend a helping hand in the economic, educational and intellectual development of the college. Joint editor Prof. Debabrata Pradhan gave the vote of thanks in the end for the cooperation of every member.
